Guitar Lessons Online – A Lesson Learned From Pee Wee

I personally do not take guitar lessons online. But that is the ideal way for me to do it. Learning from the Pee Wee is boring and difficult. Online is a way better way.

PeeWee – whose name is my guitar teacher. She and her husband owned a music store people, and my mother arranged for me to study once a week.

I really wish I could have taken my guitar lessons online. It is not that PeeWee is not a good teacher. I think he is .. but I certainly was not motivated to know. He just listened to the scales and songs he has appointed and assigned the week before the new scales and songs for the following week.

Not once He did ask me what I wanted to know. It was right out of Mel Bay Guitar Lessons, a series of books that can make anyone a guitar teacher.

The advantages of online learning these days is that you can choose the type of lesson you want to take. Want to learn rock guitar? Is there an online source for that. How about Blues Guitar? Yep, there's a place to learn blues guitar lessons. Bass Guitar? No PROBLEMO, friend.

PeeWee not know how to get me excited about the guitar. After going over the lessons for a few months and NOT training the boring lessons, I do not know how to tell mom that I was not interested, but he was kind of figured it out. So I was able to stop taking lessons.

But that does not quench my thirst for learning guitar. I hooked up with a pretty good lead guitar player, and we started a band. I was good enough to play a few chords for Pee Wee's lessons, so I was the rhythm guitarist. It was pretty cool.

We ended up winning an award or two in some local contests. We landed a gig at the local skating rink on Friday night, too … No thanks to Pee Wee.

Learning guitar has its benefits. So my advice to you have to find a way that works for you. There are plenty of PeeWee's out there, but try to avoid it. Find a source that excites you. Online teachers are pretty good.

And the price is much better for taking an online class guitar. Think about the hundreds of dollars you spend going to see "Pee Wee" each week against a fee you pay for an entire course online. This is a good deal.

That career momentum was stopped by the departure of the Phelps brothers after two albums in 1992 (Doug returned in 1996), and by then another two decades had passed. But the remaining quartet is still at it, and Dixie Lullabies, their 12th album, is their first studio recording of new original material since 2003. Not surprisingly for musicians who have been together so long, it is similar to previous efforts. The Kentucky HeadHunters may be placed in the Southern rock category, but in their case, that means they straddle a country and a blues-rock boogie approach. “Great Acoustics,” for example, sounds like a candidate for the country charts, joining previous hits from the early ? 90s like “Dumas Walker.” On the other hand, “Boones Farm Boogie” might have been borrowed from the ZZ Top songbook, and “Little Miss Blues Breaker” has a big rock guitar riff that makes it sound like a close relative of Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen.” It doesn’t seem to be an accident that Doug Phelps sings the more country-oriented material, while Richard Young is the vocalist on the rockers. Phelps has a warm and resonant light baritone with a distinct country twang, perfect for numbers like “Les Paul Standard,” another country-tinged number, while Young’s high, rusty tenor cuts through the hard-rocking tracks.
