Acoustic Bass Guitar
Acoustic guitar learning is a fad for every guitarist learner, or musician. When a rock star playing guitar in stage shows then he is always applauded by audience. Learning acoustic guitar is not less in demand. First thing that you should always keep in mind is the passion to learn. Because you’re spiritual mind and the inner force to learn something drives the way to passion. Which song has moved you to learn guitar will always works well. Proper selection of acoustic guitar should be done without committing a mistake. If you don’t have enough knowledge for selecting acoustic guitar then buying a used acoustic guitar or under some guidelines of a guitarist teacher will be the best option. Playing an acoustic guitar on a folk music is more advisable to choose because it is easy to pick the rhythm of the song and an instrument and go ahead and sing. Now-a-days all those who are interested in singing ballads opt for acoustic guitar as it won’t compete with your vocals. Provided your guitar is in tune for sure. Right selection of songs will match the most with the acoustic guitar.

should i play electric guitar or bass guitar?
well i was wondering if i should play electric or bass guitar cuz im a good singer and if ever im in a band i wanna do vocals and bass cuz bass is easier but i thought i could play a lot on my own with electric. also i like them equally. im learning acoustic right now and will be getting lessons. is electric alot harder than bass? so..which one should i play???

Vocals is great but when you play bass at the same time, you neede a good sense of independence which, by the way, McCartney had. On the other hand, playing rhythm while singing is much easier as well as throwing in some riffs between lines.
But that is your choice. if you really love the bass, then, you can master it and become an accomplished singer bass player as well.

Basically, anybody in metal who can hold a tune has sung for Ayreon at some point. 01011001 features Anneke Van Giersbergen (ex-the Gathering), Jonas Renkse (Katatonia), Floor Jansen (After Forever), Tom Englund (Evergrey), Hansi K? rsch (Blind Guardian), Simone Simons (Epica), Ty Tabor (King’s X), and Daniel Gildenlow (Pain of Salvation), among many others. These singers are the focal points of their bands, but in Ayreon, they’re merely characters in Lucassen’s rock operas. 01011001 is a sprawling two-disc set that one critic called “the longest CD ever made.” Indeed, the album spans 100 minutes, and feels like 100 years. It’s a perfect fit for the Inside/Out label — pristine production, byzantine songs that feel like full albums, hi-tech synths that wish they were guitars. Lucassen really, really likes his synths; in “Waking Dreams,” he entirely forgoes bass in favor of a percolating ostinato that suggests a beefier Kraftwerk. Electronics also pervade the percussion; “Beneath the Waves” is as if Alan Parsons covered the Beastie Boys’ “So What’cha Want.” Ray gun synths, operatic vocals, fake and real strings, and even Celtic melodies adorn this sonic mansion. Its ambition would be laughable if the record didn’t actually fulfill it often. Admittedly, such fulfillment was purchased at Guitar Center (or its Dutch equivalent); the record is most touching when it strips down to acoustic guitar on the gorgeously compact “Web of Lies.” These two discs, subtitled Planet Y and Earth, are about humanity’s disconnect with itself and destruction of the planet. 3 $14.98 On their sardonically named third album, 3, New York City’s multi-ethnic Electroputas tell you right off the bat that they are sonic absurdists, favoring discordance over grace, but they are also unrepentant groovemeisters of a supreme order, taking a decidedly Krautrock approach to extended jams with undeniable hooks. The Social Registry website says it best: “From a storm of musical chaos emerges the trio Electroputas with chunks of noise, swathes of psychedelic fervor, and large dashes of complete freakout fever.” All but the most hardcore of noiseniks will want to fast-forward through the first track, “International Harvest,” as its two minutes and change of wordless screams, growls, stutters, and chants seem to go on for ten times that length. But anyone who appreciates a disjointed yet rollicking groove will be rewarded with track two, “AA,” and its chordal bass (recalling Spinal Tap’s “Big Bottom”!), shimmying organ, spazzy guitar, and little Japanese girl vocals reminiscent of Cibo Matto or Deerhoof. The latter band’s complex instrumentals are also referenced on the herky-jerky guitar/bass duel of “Echo Temptation,” as is the late, great Thinking Fellers Union Local 282. “Master Triangle” is a sincere homage to one of the band’s biggest influences, Can, a bass-driven piledriver (as are most of the songs here), especially in the vocals ripped straight from that band’s inimitable Damo Suzuki. “Profundo Rosso” is a post-punk/free jazz guitarist’s wet dream as a tinny electric careens from speaker to speaker, accompanied by vocals seemingly in Spanish, French, and Italian, garbled through some of the bandmembers’ Japanese accents (most of the lyrics are unintelligible, quite possibly intentionally, except for this classic couplet from “AA”: “I like the taste of whiskey on my lips/So you said, my superstar”). 4 Women No Cry, Vol. 1 $15.99 Released by the excellent Monika label, this compilation — planned to be the first in a series — has a concept summed up in the title: four women from different countries, all known for working in electronic/dance styles, each contributing a slew of songs. Everyone’s tracks are grouped together, so the end result is more like a collection of four EPs, but the transitions between the artists are smoothly managed and the end result is a fine showcase for all four. Argentina’s Rosario Blefari begins the album, her “Partir y Renunciar” starting as a murky drone before adding a clattering, hollow beat and dub bass as the setting for her gentle singing and a touch of acoustic guitar. It’s a sharp blend that emphasizes the electronics first and foremost, as her other songs like “Nunca,” a slow, moody piece, and the concluding collage of beats and loops, “Vidriera Chilena,” make clear. Georgia’s Tusia Beridze follows with a series of six short, understated compositions, building on her earlier work well in its range from gentle chorales with whispered counterpoints (“Gorod”) to minimal torch songs (“Cuet”) and IDM cut-ups (“Late”). The sequence has the feeling of a late-night soundtrack to a cityscape, and works very well as a whole as well as song for song. Frenchwoman Eglantine Gouzy parallels Beridze in presenting six short pieces for her contribution, with the initial “Eglantine Longe” almost sounding like an extension of Beridze’s work. “Nurse Song” changes the tone with Gouzy’s semi-whispered/gasped singing and meditative blend of keyboards and what sounds a bit like harp, with the remainder of her work suggesting a vocal-added version of Boards of Canada’s playful explorations. Catarina Pratter brings the comp home to Germany at the end, alternating between shorter and longer tracks. 4th & Wall $14.98 For the uninitiated, West Indian Girl are not a reggae band, and for those who haven’t been paying attention, they aren’t an electro-studio duo anymore, either. With 4th & Wall the twosome has expanded to a sextet with the addition of live bass, drums, percussion, and guitar, further swelled by a host of guest musicians, greatly extending WIG’s aural vistas and influences — which now span the musical spectrum from synth pop to classic rock, from new wave to techno. A Keith Richards-ish guitar lick enlivens the infectious “Get Up,” echoes of “Free Bird” soar in the finale of “Sofia,” the Soup Dragons’ spirit swirls around “Lost Children,” and Echo & the Bunnymen’s moody atmospheres pool around “To Die in LA” and “All My Friends.” On the irresistible “Solar Eyes,” the group juxtaposes bubbly synth pop against a lusher new romantic style and a four-on-the-floor disco beat, then stirs in spacy effects and a funky feel. Sadly, though, the set’s sequencing is a bit slack, occasionally making for jarring shifts in styles between tracks, which is a shame, because in reality 4th & Wall is actually a quite coherent album. This is particularly evident in the songs’ themes, which revolve around the lure of L.A. and its nearby beaches, as well as more universal interpersonal subjects. It’s equally true of the music, even as the band drifts from gentle soft pop through Boston-styled keyboard rockers, the hefty space rocker “Rise from the Dead,” and upbeat dance tunes. The styles may change and the atmospheres alter from languorous to driving, but what remains constant are the lilting vocals, strong melodies, and psychedelic keyboards that remain the core of WIG’s sound. The pumping “Blue Wave” was the first number selected as a sound clip, but the new wave-ish “To Die in LA” and the breezy “All My Friends” would have worked just as well, while “Solar” should tear up the dancefloor. 70 Concert $20.98 This European compact disc reissues Canned Heat’s Live Concert 70 (1971), which was released as Canned Heat Concert (Recorded Live in Europe) (1970) in the U.K.. The short-lived lineup heard here features Bob “The Bear” Hite (vocals), Alan “Blind Owl” Wilson (guitar/vocals/harmonica), Larry “The Mole” Taylor (bass), Aldolfo “Fito” de la Parra (drums), as well as Harvey Mandel (guitar), who had replaced Henry “Sunflower” Vestine (guitar). Arguably more significant, however, is that these are among the last gigs with Wilson. Sadly, less than six months later, he overdosed prior to the Heat’s fall 1970 European outing. The tour captured on this platter was spawned by the unanticipated success of the combo’s cover of Wilbert Harrison’s “Let’s Work Together” — taken off of the album Future Blues (1970) — which became their most successful side throughout Europe. With Mandel driving the band instrumentally, there is an incremental shift towards more jammed-out interaction and completely rearranged melodies. This is immediately exemplified by the loose and funky “That’s All Right Mama.” Alternately, Wilson’s dark visage is evident on the lonesome and harrowing “Pulling Hair Blues,” or the improvised “London Blues,” a number likewise marked by his biting bottleneck slide guitar solos and haunting off-key vocals. Although the track list portrays it as a medley, “Back on the Road Again” bears little in common with the “On the Road Again.” Rather than, at the very least, a verse from both songs being played, the latter is only alluded to.
