School Of Rock Montclair Doesn't Just Offer A Revolutionary Way For Our SCholars To Learn, Enjoy, And Perform Music, It Is also Social Scene Where Young Musicians Can Meet, Develop Their Sound, And Form Their Own Bands - Claims Matt Sandoski.
Stage Left At Chill, a gig locale found at 312 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, will present live performances from a variety of new bands that are composed of students from School of Rock Montclair. The show will occur on Fri., January 27 at 5:30 p.m."School of Rock Montclair doesn't just offer an amazing new way for our scholars to learn, enjoy, and perform music, it's also a social scene where young musicians can meet, develop their sound, and form their own bands," asserts Matt Sandoski, owner of College of Rock Montclair. "Our musicians connect with other scholars who share their tastes and vision, and they use our teaching staff of professional working musicians as a resource for ideas, feedback, and guidance."
The headliner for the January 27 event will be Going Dark, an active, heavy rock trio of College of Rock scholars whose music has been featured on area rock radio stations WDHA-FM and WRAT-FM. The band is composed of Alex Fogg (fifteen, drums), L.J. Militello (fourteen, guitar), and Oliver Shaw (12, bass and vocals), and produced by Grammy-winner John Ginty, former music director for College of Rock Montclair. Going Dark has opened for teen sensations Enormously Rush at 6 Flags in Jackson, NJ and legendary rocker Sebastian Bach at Irving Piazza, in N. Y. Their debut CD "Play Your Game" will be given to all guests at their Chill performance.
Also featured on the bill are GNGR, a Caldwell-based band featuring School of Rock musicians Garrett Bell (vocals and guitar), Jake Lefkowitz (lead guitar), Jason Inguagiato (guitar), Raffaele Chiovaro (bass), Michael Berry (keyboard), and Aidan O'Connor (drums). With inspiration starting from Led Zeppelin and Lynryd Skynrd to Guns 'n' Roses and the Foo Wrestlers, GNGR has been gigging habitually in the Essex County area at holidays, events, and locations over the last year.
Opening the show will be Holographic Jellyfish, a Montclair-based quartet of School of Rock students that mixes alternative, progressive, and hallucinogenic genres into a sound that they describe as shoegaze metal. Band members include Montclair High School scholars Willie Kunstatder (lead guitar), Nick Van Leer (drums), Nagee D.C. (rhythm guitar and vocals), and Mt. Hebron student Eli Sofly Zayar (bass).
Tickets for the Chill concert are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Special guest host will be WDHA-FM D.J. Terrie Carr. All ticket holders will be entered into a drawing to win one three-day weekend pass to the 2012 Fool Holiday in Asbury Park. The Great Thing About Being A Music Fan These Days Is The Plethora Of Listening Options.
The worst thing might be considered closely related: checking your “collection,” if we can even call it that anymore, considering its fractured nature even as we switch between various classes of music service.MSpot probably have the answer to the “silo-ization” of our music experience...
with a first-of-its-kind service that combines an online locker which you could store music downloads inside cloud; a music subscription that lets you stream pretty much whatever you want (with around Ten million tracks at launch plus much more to come); and a streaming radio service that plays artist stations.
"Instead of flipping from iTunes to Spotify to Pandora, you can find everything in one place,” said Daren Tsui. “This is all about combining three different experiences and achieving something much bigger than the sum of the parts, because the music can build on itself. The service is mobile - with PC, iOS, and also other devices added, so all of your music actually is on all devices.
“We thought, let’s assembled a service where consumers don’t need to pay three different times,” he added. “It’s tough enough to get consumers to pay for music, but imagine paying $9.99 per month for a subscription, another $25 per year for iTunes Match, another [$36 per year] for Pandora without ads. That’s nuts.”
Tsui was cagey about how much mSpot’s 3-in-1 service, currently in a very “proof of concept” phase, will cost - besides saying “essentially, you get three services without paying more.”
In addition to simplifying pricing, the newest mSpot (codename: Aria) will allow music fans to add the gaps caused by artists like the Beatles refusing to license their music to streaming services such as Spotify. In those cases, fans will get that music from iTunes, Amazon, and other sources of downloads, and incorporate it within their music service themselves, through uploading it to their mSpot locker.
“There remain quite a few artists that have elected never to participate in a subscription services, and that means you can’t get their songs on, say, Spotify,” said Tsui. “And now their are new artists that don’t desire to put their albums up. In those scenarios, you can't have a cloud experience. Which has a locker, you can absolutely do that. Also, I’m fairly into music, and also have a few DJ friends who assembled 30-minute, hour-long mixes. I love them. They’re certainly not available [from subscription services] because they’re not license-able. In this scenario, the cloud locker works very, adequately.”
In addition, the 3-in-1 nature of mSpot’s upcoming service allows each plan to inform the others, unlike using three separate companies for any a locker, subscription, and radio.
“Regardless of where you’re paying attention to your music, whether it’s from your locker, from the subscription, or from your radio, we know,” said Tsui. “And when we recommend songs, it’s likely to be relevant to your taste… Let’s say I’m paying attention to a Lady Gaga song from my locker… there’s a bit lightbulb icon which means discovery and recommendation. You click on that, and it takes the song that you’re currently paying attention to and it will recommend other artists from your ten-million-song catalog. Another category will recommend various internet radio stations.”
To begin with, mSpot plans to roll out this evidence concept for trial testing. If it does become available to everyone, it will include a free trial and run using Android and the web. Tsui told Evolver.fm the reason being mSpot wants to “go where there’s maximum pain” on the part of the consumer, but that iOS and also other platforms will follow shortly after that. To draw in mainstream consumers, mSpot hopes to partner with wireless carriers and/or device manufacturers to provide a co-branded or white-label version of the service.
Granted, mSpot lacks the mirroring feature that allows Apple iCloud to zap songs onto its servers according to metadata instead of transferring your files themselves. But once you receive the bulk of your collection uploaded into its system, keeping that collection updated is pretty simple. And the simplicity of utilizing one app for a locker, subscription, and radio does sound simpler than using each type in an isolated fashion.
“The question of ‘rent’ versus ‘buy’ disappears altogether,” added Tsui. “They now coexist. If you’re using one app rather than three, it is easier to buy music since you know where to find it. Purchases always live in the music app, on all devices.”
So far, mSpot counts over two million downloads of its iPhone and Android apps - and that’s exclusively for the 2-in-1 music locker plus radio feature. Given that it plans to add a subscription compared to that mix, it should become a lot more potent, writes tagza.

The Web 2.0 revolution is changing the way information is exchanged and allows individuals, businesses, and communities to connect and share resources, ideas, and solutions like never before. This expertise is the new key for the welfare of business success.
Fostering a work culture that values and cultivates collaboration is the DNA of the team building. As One Minute Manager, Ken Blanchard discovered, in a teamwork environment, people understand and believe that thinking, planning, decision and action is better when done cooperatively. People recognize and assimilate the belief that "none of us is as good as all of us. "
In America, many of our institutions such as schools, our family structures, and our pastimes emphasize still Winning, the best, and from above. Workplaces that exemplify and reward teamwork is not yet the norm.
Organizations, however, are working on valuing diverse people, ideas, backgrounds, and experiences. As part of the transformation of society that we see taking place globally, collaboration, co-creation and cooperation are values that seem more easily embraced and above organizational development.
Having consulted many senior managers, educational organizations and leaders in the past 13 years, I've included here are my Ten Tips for Team Building terrific as a quick guide successful development team, encouraging creativity and innovation, and attaining optimal results within your business or organization.
TEN TIPS for building a powerful TEAM
1. Clear communicate expectations.
It is important that team members know why they are working together, and how their role, function, and outcomes contribute to the larger picture and the overall success of the organization, its customers and coworkers. As a leader, how clearly you communicate the overall vision, mission and values of the organization is the power driving the team forward.
2. Has an agenda with goals and team meetings.
Allow time for development updates, discussions, brainstorming, and action plans. It may be useful especially if the meeting facilitator will be trained in Cross-Cultural Awareness, or Marshall Rosenberg's Non-violent Communication practices. Using these techniques will help keep a diverse group of cohesive and focused, encouraging participation at all, and easy to propagate and transform stagnation. Change, creativity and solutions are not birthed in a static environment. Are you concerns and misunderstandings raised and well addressed to your team?
3. Include consultants and independent contractors in your brainstorming sessions.
One of the biggest mistakes some organizations do not include consultants and independent contractors in staff meetings, project updates, long-term goals and vision. You will get a lot more mileage from your consultants when they are included in the discussion session and affects the direction of your organization and growth. Consultants are usually natural networkers and wealth of resources. They could easily be a strong contributing factor in long-term success of your organization and expansion.
4. Cultivate an environment where team members can appreciate the diversity of talent on the team, not just the skill set and areas of expertise, but from a whole person perspective. If the team is working on a long-term project to consider investing in the Myers Briggs assessment, disc or Enneagram training for the workplace.
5. Have a reward or recognition program in place.
Giving public recognition to the company intranet, newsletter, or a staff meeting, or rewarding high-performers with gift certificates to a spa or event, are only a few low-cost, no-cost ways to recognize team members for a job well done.
6. Build fun and shared events in the organization's agenda.
Hold potluck lunches, take the team to a performance or cultural event. Host dinners at a local restaurant, (including your Associates' family) plan or an external events such as hiking, cycling, or even river rafting.
7th. Encourage collaborative leadership models within your workplace.
Move away from traditional, hierarchical model of leadership that deadening people and spirit that can create separation, distrust, and a competitive environment. Focus on the cooperative model for team performance. Rotating facilitators at your weekly or monthly meetings are a way to start the transfer. Appointed co-managers lead to a project is another effective strategy.
8. Create opportunities for giving and receiving feedback.
On his recent U.S. tour, the Dalai Lama constantly emphasized the importance of dialog, including education and training opportunities for our increasing diverse and complicated society. How well trained you and your people on treatment evaluation, active listening, asking for clarification, and other non-defensive model communication to make it safe for you and your Associates to express needs, was heard, and enthusiastically create innovative solutions and for each other?
9. Provide resources.
One of the surest ways to create chaos and reduce motivation, performance, and moral expect people to perform without the tools and resources they need to deliver the outcomes they are proud of. Make sure all the main information and tools they need to perform, including healthy, ergonomic workstations.
10. Form a Green Team at work.
Help your people to raise their awareness of opportunities to save energy and contribute to a healthy and sustainable environment. By allowing others to take leadership and responsibility, passion takes hold. A green team can be very motivational for employees who want to make a difference their work environment.
It takes teamwork to make the dream work!

Bachelor Party $90.81 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles A bachelor party (USA, Canada and South Africa), also known as a stag party, stag night or stag do (United States, Canada, UK, Ireland and New Zealand), a bulls party (South Africa), and a bucks party or bucks night (Australia) is a party held for a bachelor shortly before he enters marriage, to make the most of his final opportunity to engage in activities a new partner might not approve of, or merely to spend time with his male friends (who are often in his wedding party afterwards). Bachelor Parties are usually planned by the best man or occasionally with the assistance of a bachelor party planning company. A bachelor party may involve activities beyond the usual party and social gathering ingredients (often drinking alcohol and gambling), such as going to a strip club or hiring a stripper, and in some traditions more hazinglike tests and pranks at the future grooms expense, which shows the whole thing is also a rite of passage from bachelorhood (associated with an adolescent lifestyle, often in the common past of most participants, e.g. in their student years) to more responsible marital life. Party Over Here $15.99 “>>In this world of excessive celebration, ranging from block parties, release parties to after parties, Party Over Here zooms in on a dozen distinct occasions that typically get the party going. While staying true to his unique brand of lyricism and urban theology, Phanatik courageously challenges the “Party Like a Rockstar” attitude of our current culture, causing listeners to ask themselves and their surroundings whether we should be celebrating or lamenting life as we know it. Each song on the album is a different type of party where listeners must decide – “Do I really want to Party Over Here?” >>Phanatik utilizes his signature witty word play and analytical style to deliver a more mature flow and subject matter; what you may call grown-up Hip Hop. With a musical sound that is both new and yet nostalgic, the wordsmith keeps listeners’ heads nodding, while their minds travel to places from the natural to the supernatural. >>“I always sought to make music that Christians could comfortably share with nonbelievers and this album is my masterpiece,” stated Phanatik. “It’s a timely and timeless audio experience that I hope audiences will live through and enjoy again and again.”>>” |

Two eye colours, two lip colours and a cheek glow all in silky smooth deluxe textures that will enhance your natural beauty, not mask it. Revitalize and enhance your natural beauty in a simple all in one kit. Pixi bestselling concept to suit brunettes, blondes and redheads has now been taken to the next level with these must have colours and tools. The perfect gift for your best friend or a wonderful treat for yourself. Vitamin E: A powerful anti aging and antioxidant ingredient. Aloe Vera Extract: Soothes and heals stressed skin. Mineral Powder Pigments: Natural pigment to add lustre and colour. Macadamia Seed Oil: Helps with skin regeneration and keeping skin silky smooth. Titanium Dioxide: Natural mineral with SPF factor. Directions: 1. It’s a good idea to curl your lashes before you apply any eye makeup. 2. Lightly dip the largest eye brush into the light eyeshade colour and apply to eyelid. 3. Use the remaining pigment on the brush and sweep over brow bone, just under eyebrow. 4. Now pick up the black bristle eye brush and dip into the deeper eyeshade and sweep back and forth into the eye socket. 5. Use the smallest eye brush to line your upper line as close to the lash root as possible. 6. Now pick up the blusher brush and dip into the large cheek pan. Twirl the cheek color onto the apples of the cheeks in circular movements, blending out towards the ear. 7. To brighten the eye also add some blusher color to the middle of the eyelid on top of the base lid colour. Looks stunning. 8. Pick up the lip brush included and swirl brush around into the deeper colour for more hue, or into the lighter colour for more of a glow only. You could also use the light colour on top of any colour as the lip highlighter, adding it to the middle of the bottom and top lips for an illusion of fuller lips. Before the Rapture: The Four Stages We Must Live Through $17.95 “Author Eleanor Schultz removes the mystery of scenes described by Bible prophets. Logical and clear explanation, with a touch of humor, calms fears about the times that we are destined to experience before the Rapture. The rise of the Antichrist and his crusade to conquer the world is unsettling at best. The surfacing of the Ark and Israel’s encounter with God makes for exciting reading. The Middle East emerges as the seat of world political, religious, and economic power. Peace arrives, and prosperity follows. The deception and lure of resulting pleasures can be deadly if we fall for the deceptive tactics of evil in the end times. Surveying all things, we realize we are not alone and evil is not in charge. God’s plan of redemption is the controlling factor for end-time events, and Satan does not have veto rights. God is still in control.” |

6 Rules Every Man Must Break: . . . and Every Woman Must Know $12.99 “What if by breaking six specific rules, you could throw off the shackles of other people’s expectations and pursue a more authentic and liberating faith? Popular author and speaker Bill Perkins challenges men to follow Jesus’ example: refuse to be handcuffed by rules that aren’t God-given. Drawing on personal stories and Scriptural examples, Bill shows how defying these rules will help you to live a courageous and credible life free from hypocrisy and to unleash the passionate faith that resides within you. You can strengthen your connection with Christ by depending on him–not man-made rules–to transform you into the man he created you to be.” |

Kick your session into overdrive and Event will make sure it accounts for the extra heat accordingly. It’s not just about preventing audio glitches and dropouts. The data bottlenecks that cause those things also cause extra heat inside the system. When everything is turned up to 11, the last thing you need is system failure from overheating. Event makes sure that never happens.Compact si |

Must Know Stories $13 “An understanding of Bible story is essential to so much of our culture, literature, history, language … Bible references are woven into the fabric of our national, artistic and literary heritage. The tabloids talk of a ‘David and Goliath encounter’ on the football pitch, a ‘Damascus Road experience’, a ‘lions’ den’ situation or an ‘exodus’ of skilled workers. People talk of the need for ‘the wisdom of Solomon’ or their longing for ‘the return of the prodigal’. But increasing Bible illiteracy means we are losing real understanding of such terms.THE MUST KNOW STORIES are a way of restoring understanding of the importance of 10 key stories in the Bible – 10 stories that have been voted on as essential to our culture and which teachers and parents feel must not be lost to the next generation. The 10 stories voted (by parents and teachers) as THE MUST KNOW STORIES are: 1Creation/ Adam and Eve2 Noah’s ark3The 10 Commandments4David and Goliath5Daniel in the lions’ den6 The birth of Jesus7 The feeding of the 50008The return of the prodigal son9The good Samaritan10The death and resurrection of Jesus” |

Live in Scandinavia $17.99 At the peak of his popularity in the late ’60s and early ’70s, Capitol released way too many albums from Buck Owens: in the liner notes to Sundazed’s 2007 reissue of Live in Scandinavia, Rich Kienzle points out that the label released a staggering nine albums in the 15-month span from December 1969 to February 1971. That’s an avalanche of albums that included 1969′s Buck Owens in London — add to that two live LPs issued between 1966 (Carnegie Hall Concert) and 1967 (In Japan!) and it’s little wonder why Capitol did not release Live in Scandinavia in America during 1970, holding it only for Norway, but even there it got a limited release, somewhere in the province of a couple thousand copies. As such, Live in Scandinavia is the rarest of all official Buck Owens albums, with Sundazed’s 2007 release being the first wide circulation of the music ever, and it’s a welcome reissue even if it isn’t a monumental one. Unlike those three aforementioned records, this doesn’t strictly feature Buck on his own; instead, it showcases his entire touring revue, dubbed the Capitol Caravan and featuring an opening set from Don Rich and the Buckaroos, followed by a pair of songs each by Buddy Alan Owens and the Hagers before Buck came in for his set, with the entire Caravan singing the closing pair “Tall Dark Stranger” and “Johnny B. Goode.” This, more than any of his other live albums, gives a sense of what it must have been like to see a full Buck Owens concert back then, as the set runs rapidly through the revolving musicians. That’s not the only way that Live in Scandinavia reflects its time: there are no less than two songs from the Band here, as Don Rich tears through “Up on Cripple Creek” and does a good “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” along with a cover of Merle Haggard’s recent hit “Okie from Muskogee.” All this pegs Live in Scandinavia to its year, but its time capsule nature is why the album is valuable among the plethora of live Buck LPs: it plays like an average night on the road, which is almost as interesting as a barnburner like Carnegie Hall. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine |

The data bottlenecks that cause those things also cause extra heat inside the system. When everything is turned up to 11, the last thing you need is system failure from overheating. By carefully tuning the operating system for audio and video production, Rain has created a Windows 7 that’s stable, compatible and perfectly suited for the software you use to make audio and video. There’s a difference between compatible and “compatible”. The second one means it technically works with your operating system but who knows how well. There’s no need to wonder with Event and Windows 7. Install your software and see how it was really meant to work.Rain users know there’s really no good time to crash. That’s especially true in the middle of a show or during a recording session. Stability is key and Event’s got it in spades with a specially tuned version of Windows 7 designed to make sure you can stay in the creative zone.Using a custom BIOS makes a big difference in the performance of Event. By carefully tuning your system at the very deepest level, we’re able to eek out more power and ensure a more stable and compatible environment. Add your software and hardware. You’ll feel the difference.Quiet Cool DesignYou want to hear your music, not your computer. Event uses a unique system called Quiet Cool Design. Intelligent cooling that stays quiet, materials that won’t let heat get trapped inside, and a balanced component architecture to prevent bottlenecks. What’s left? Just crystal clear digital audio like it was meant to be.Go ahead and concentrate on the music. Event will spend its time thinking about the internal ambient temperature to make sure that failure is really not an option. When everything is normal, the large diameter fans spin nice and slow, moving torrents of air without making noise.

World-renowned jazz musician Wynton Marsalis uses his remarkable talents and unique teaching gifts to make learning about the classical forms of music fun and entertaining. Absolutely the finest music appreciation and instruction series for children available, this is a must-have for music teachers and school libraries. ~ Heather M. Fierst, Rovi Marsalis On Music: Sousa to Satchmo World-renowned jazz and classical musician Wynton Marsalis brings his expertise and unique teaching ability to children in this entertaining and educational program. In Marsalis on Music: Sousa to Satchmo, the students of the Tanglewood School, under the direction of maestro Sejii Ozawa, learn how different forms of music influence one another and evolve into totally new styles. Marsalis demonstrates the changes in modern jazz from its roots in John Phillip Sousa’s marches to the ragtime of Scott Joplin through Louis Armstrong’s improvisational scat. The program is highlighted by Marsalis’ magical trumpet interpretations of each style. In Marsalis on Music: Why Toes Tap, Marsalis uses a basketball dribbling exercise, skipping, and hopping to demonstrate how rhythm and movement express emotions in music. He then uses two different versions of “The Nutcracker,” Tchaikovsky’s ballet and Ellington’s jazz version, to illustrate how composers use and vary rhythms to convey different moods.
