Ludwig Drums – Part 1

The result of a break-up it is normal to have negative feelings such as sadness and anger, frustration and even exhaustion. Sometimes these feelings can be overwhelming and when combined with fear for an uncertain future, you may find yourself feeling quite hungry as well. One important thing to keep reminding yourself of is that these emotions will lose their power over time, you're going to be afraid so kind to yourself and take extra special care of your health and your sanity.

One of the first things is to give yourself permission to operate at a lower level than normally expected from yourself. You will not be as confident as you want, as productive work that you want, like giving to others as you like ECT but that's going to be OK for now. It is important to step back and reduce as much stress or pressure on yourself as you can so you. Catch your breath and recover. Take the time you need to regroup your resources and your own resolve.

The next important point is not to go through this alone. People use around you that you love, use their support and encouragement. Depending on how much the break-up is affecting your life you can also consider joining a support group as nothing more empowering than finding like minded others who really understand what you are going through. If you choose to stay in some instances you will experience more stress and suffering than is necessary, it can even go as far as to affect your work and your health to be very careful about how you manage this situation. Do it responsibly.

He first learned of these drums in 1974 on an educational trip to Zaria, Nigeria. Through years of development and experimentation, he has perfected his line of Udu Drums. They remain true to their origins while offering improved sound qualities and durability. They have since become extremely popular and are used by some of the world’s leading percussionists. LP Udu Drums possess distinct tonal qualities which range from subtle bass tones to soothing tabla-like tones. Their clay construction is based upon centuries-old African traditions. The name “Udu” has been derived from the Nigerian Ibo language, meaning “pottery”. Each LP Udu Drum offers individual tonal values. They can be played by hitting any part of the drum with the palm of the hand or the finger tips. The textured surfaces provide additional tonal variations by creating rubbing sounds. The sound possibilities can be further expanded using the unique microphone ports found in each chamber. Small mics can be mounted for amplification and to capture the wondrous internal sounds.
