When I was in high school, my 10th grade World Cultures teacher was the basketball coach, Mike Rice, who later was the head coach at Duquesne University, and now broadcasts games for the Portland Trail Blazers.
Then, when I was at the University of Pittsburgh, I had a writing course that was taught by Mark Harris, a quite accomplished American author, who wrote the book “Bang the Drum Slowly,” which was the basis for the movie starring Robert Di Nero and Michael Moriarity.
