ok, iv written a blues piece fro trumpet and piano, trumpet plays the melody and the piano accompanies…
its based on a twelve bar blues sequence,

i need to make these chords into an accompaniment, not just block chords, and it has to be blues.. any help/ideas??
to the first answerer… that didnt help at all, iv already written the whole trumpet part, and im happy with it, so im not about to change the whole chord sequence, as you would understand if you’d read the question, that is nto what i was asking…

Well, most blues use a I IV V progression, so really, adding the A7 and D7 is too much for most blues , and it’s usually 12 bars then repeat. Remember, the blues is suppose to be simple, that’s where the beauty is, in it’s simplicity.
