Tips On How To Find Easy Piano Songs
People who are learning to play a new instrument often struggle with finding the right music to play for their skill level, and this can be especially true for beginners who must start out learning music that generally does not interest them. Luckily, there are easy piano songs out there, and you can find them if you look hard enough.
You cannot start playing any type of music that you wish to without first mastering some necessary techniques. As a pianist, it is important to be able to read simple notation. You should also memorize some of your basic chords, like major and minor chords, and it will be helpful to master at least a few scales.
Unfortunately, during and after your very first few lessons, you will probably need to stick with the basic music that is included in your beginning songbooks. However, once you have comfortably learned some of these, you can move on and start having some real fun by playing music that you enjoy listening to.
Instead of thinking only about your favorite pieces of music, you should think about pieces that you enjoy listening to that also happen to be very simple. These types of pieces may have some things in common, like the same even tempo throughout, a standard time signature, very few chords, a high level of repetition, and very simple progressions.
The great thing about understanding notation is that it opens you up to playing tons of different kinds of songs that are meant for all kinds of instruments. For example, there are Beatles songs that consist of a few chords and are very easy to play on the guitar. You can also play these chords on your piano with the same rhythm by reading the music.
If you are having trouble finding a composition that is easy for you to play, you may want to think about taking a song that you like and making it simpler. To do this, you can analyze the notation and figure out which chords can be played in succession to make it simpler. You can even have a musician or teacher help you do this.
There are fun and easy piano songs out there. Start by learning the basics and then try looking online or in stores for sheet music that appeals to you, and remember, you can always simplify music if you need to.

Learning PIano – Finding Middle C On The Keyboard
When you learn piano there will be a lot of talk about middle C and it’s location. What exactly is middle C on a piano, where do you locate it and what’s all the fuss about? These are question I’ll answer in this post.
What is Middle C
Middle C is quite literally the middle C key on your piano. Middle C is the first key you’ll be shown on a piano when learning and it also marks the area of the keyboard where most popular tunes begin.
Finding Middle C isn’t difficult, but it will take a little memorization.
Finding Middle C on a Piano and Keyboard
The location of middle C on a piano is the 4th C from the left hand side. On a piano if you know your note locations and steps then you can count from the left: the 1st C is the 3rd key, the 2nd C is the 10th key and so on every 7 keys is a C until you hit the fourth one. So the middle C is the 24th white key from the left hand side.
When using an electric keyboard the location will vary pending the number of white keys. If your electric keyboard has 88 keys then the location is the same as a piano, the 4th C. How ever if your keyboard has 49, 61 or 76 keys it’s the 3rd C not the 4th. You can still location middle C the exact same way counting white keys from the left hand side of the keyboard.
To memorize the position of middle C note how many black key sets precede it. Use those black key groupings to remember and location middle C quickly.
The Importance of Middle C
From a musical point of view middle C denotes the area of the piano where a lot of the chords, notes etc. Begin in popular music. It is also thought of as the dividing key on the piano that separates your left hand from your right hand.
