London Fashion Week for Autumn / Winter 2010

PROPHETIK "Southern Shores" catwalk show.Designer Jeff Garner

Tennessee based Prophetik kicked off the catwalk shows LFW Vauxhall Fashion Scout, Freemason's Hall, Covent Garden. And what a kick off!

At the beginning we were lulled into thinking a happy southern country theme when violinist Anna Cwad start playing toe tapping music, with ex-Paramore Jason Bynum joining him on guitar. Man destroyed the band then shatters illusion that their fusion of punk and pop rock. Not surprisingly, their drummer is ex-Sex Pistols Paul Cook and their vocals / guitar lead is ex-Def Leppard Phil Collen. And let's not forget their bass guitarist Simon Laffy from Brit rock glam Girl band act.

Man raising destroy the tempo, show started for ethical collection A/W10 designer Jeff Garner's titled "Southern Shores. "His inspiration came from the American Civil War and sees hope and love affair by controversy and uncertainty.

Primary color palette in real Civil War colors are blues, grays with a touch of red.

The menswear seen layering and looking for serious long Coats, waistcoats, vintage buttons, ride irons and peace silk neckties.

For women, design ranged from jodhpurs, ripped leggings, military jackets and capes across the Little House on the Prairie style dresses. In between are mini dresses and long flowing dresses both teamed with flat heel boots ride a horse.

The end of show, the music mellowed as Jeff Garner out looking for parts of Southern gentleman taking a stroll with his Southern belle with its long salient red velvet bustier dress.

Garner's collection is proof that fashion look is no harm in making ethical clothing.

Prophetik is a sustainable men and womenswear brand with environmentally friendly materials such as organic cottons, hemp, flax, Greenspun (Recycle bottles) and organic pigment dyes. One of their signature dresses "the Elle" is made from silk and organic cotton with painted elephants in collaboration with the AEACP (Asian Elephant Art Conservation Project), which helps to raise funds for an elephant sanctuary sa Thailand. "

ORLA-Kiely presentation Tuesday CHILDREN autumn / winter 2010

presenting to the porch room, Somerset House 19Feb10

The stage for the presentation Orla Kiely Wonderful rooms decorated in innovate 2 60's style brown and beige designed Orla Kiely wallpaper in living room and light and dark blue in the bedroom. The furniture is 60's vintage and a modern retro looking TV showed the collection on the screen. Models SA or rise above the knee dresses and skirts teamed with shoes and navy socks mid-calf.

Patterns for wallpaper and dresses are inspired by abstract art Ivon Hutchins and photography by Erwin Olaf, and captured the essence of falling leaves of autumn.

Primary color palette is autumn – creams instead of white, various shades of browns, burnt orange and navy. The force may be gray and black found in several pieces.

Fabrics used are silk crepe mohair and teamed with traditional checked wool and wool jacquard,

The models wore their hair in a severe bun and makeup was kept simple, giving a nice contrast to cute collars and fun update of retro 60's style.

LAKOBUKIA "Emotions" catwalk show

Its A/W10 collection titled "emotions" peddling Bukia wanted to show both the positive nature and bad feelings with dark fabric, shape and color.

The basic palette of colors for darker black side and white for the lighter side of emotions. Some pieces cream appear to show that not everything is black and white.

Light fabric used is soft flowing chiffon, a stiffer silk cotton and wool.

Geometric shape can be seen on collars, and by way of diagonal zips. The zips are also used as a bridge to connect the stiffer fabric softer fabric. Some pieces are clearly a difference between hard and soft cloth. Others The difference is seen only once in the zip is undone and then only by revealing the hidden soft silk fabric underneath. Shoulder and side zips allow the wearer the flexibility of changing its silhouette – when the mood takes him.

Peddling shoes looked striking in black or white leather with a soft triangular heel. He explains the triangle is a more Gothic shape and provides a more difficult emotional contrast to the softness of the skin.

The young designer label for Sado was born Russian Carlotta Gherzi (of Italian parents) who brings an elegant modern edge to label.

The latest collection has great style which may worn by real women and not just catwalk models. The basic palette of color is black with blue and red pillar box.

Silks dominated the tops, dresses and leggings which even brought the vividness of both blue and red.

"Geometrical magic" is the title of this autumn / winter 2010 collection – This is shown in silk leggings, tops and dresses which are all pleated to horizontal ladder providing texture and depth.

Black knits wear attractive to flash on hand to build broad horizontal bands sparkly

Silver and red brocade made an appearance for evening dresses. Especially loved the strapless silver brocade Great dress.

Sado's signature is modern and classic – the collection this season did not disappoint.

DOII Paris "Forest Walk" catwalk show

It was the first Korean designer catwalk show Lee's Doii in London and it would not let him down.

The collection titled "Walk in the Forest" was inspired by his favorite Russian story "Baba Yaga" In the story of a wicked aunt sends her lovely step daughter in the woods to visit his aunt, Baba Yaga, the witch.

Sa Doii's story go to the forest, he will pass through an intoxicating rose maze. Copper hair models wore dresses and layered chiffon glittering sequined dresses – all the exclusive designer of photo print large pinkish red roses. Red patent high-heeled shoes with patterned cloth tied around the ankles with large bows match the vividness of the design. White faux fur trims and linings add comfort to some of the stiffer sequined fabric. The first outfit on the catwalk immediately caught our attention – straight long chiffon dress with a kick flare hem, draped in a long trailing shawl covered with sequined rose pattern and lined with white faux sa fur.

"A pigeon guide him along the right path" – the digital copies are now flying white doves in the orange / peach chiffon light or heavily sequined fabric. The short belted career double covered in sequins in big bold doves will look spectacular in its contrasting print of blues and creams on the lapels. The dove to print the long and short dresses chiffon is more stoned down because of their smaller scale.

"A garden full of glorious sunny memories" Main Characters palette is cream with a touch of blue, green and pink. The print of potted plants are fuzzy as if faded by the sun. Here we saw a loose fitting sequined egg-shaped coat with a sexy kick to the bottom and buffet. The contrasting print on the collar of polka dots add to the glamor.

The story and walk becomes darker, he was in turmoil-rich mid-grays or browns are added to the mix. The print is busier and bright again. The silver gray lace-print black lace teamed with billowing sleeves made bishop a simple oval mini dress cocktail dress a knock. And the black elbow length puffed sleeves and lace tiered lace hem high yoke and another silver gray print dress gave a mini Edwardian vintage look.

"But he knew he was a protected one" – the colors here are pale gold and black. Here we saw a gold sequined and black patterned trench coat of the clear light gray lapels, tie belt and pockets. A short sequined gold and black patterned dress is given The 20's vintage look with a drop waist and a broad band of gold scalloped lace around the hem.

"My bones are always with my friends – again black and gray dominated for new print of skulls lace. Here we saw a luxurious knee-length fur wrap coat with silver gray fur wraps and a touch of sequined skull prints, and a plain gray wool wrap mini mid coat adorned with sequined skull print with pockets, cuffs, belt and slightly front with contrasting collar and polka dots decorations.

"Then the goat queen of the forest is on its side" – honey blonde model came out wearing the goat queen sa copy of creams, whites, soft browns with a touch of blue light. My favorites are the Coats: all pieces statements proving you do not have to wait to get your coat off before making an entrance.

Doii states that the woman who wears Doii Paris becomes right. The last model came out in a black sequined coat and big hat with fringes so long they reached his shoulders. Not represent the end of the story but true diva style, this piece wanted to take center stage.

Clements Ribeiro presentation

Haute Bohemian autumn / winter 2010

The bohemian style can be for husband and wife (Design duo's Suzanne Clements & Inacio Ribeiro) latest collection, but it's bohemian defective magnet. They chose to look back on 70's around the time when Yves Saint Laurent created his Russian collection

footwear is to die for – all embellished with sequin pattern. My favorites are the long irons in the leather soft and slightly slouchy gathered above.

Also adorned with sequins dresses, and pants with you crystal Cardigans.

The collection is divided into specific sections:

A more masculine tailored sections – the main color palette charcoal gray, black and dark attractive.

Embellished knits are large but with a monochrome tone to create understated classic potion.

The section showed feminine silk dresses, skirts and tops in Paisley and marble effect rotation of copies.

A dress and pants in pale gold jacquard and embellished Cardigans with sequin pattern or bejeweled motifs. The colors are more quiet in shades of greens, gold, mustard, light browns and taupe.

The more affluent sections showed the weight for brocade jackets, skirts and Coats trimmed with sequins. Primary color palette is black and midnight blue. Nice touch with the leather gloves trimmed with sequins.

This collection shows the rich luxury is not limited to eveningwear.

Future Classics presentation. Designer Julie Wilkins

Cut & Paste autumn / winter 2010

The presentation in Room porch, Somerset House 21Feb10

Even those advertised as a presentation, designer Julie Wilkins presenting his label Future Classics A / W 10 collection is more like a mini catwalk show. The benches are set out so that the model can walk down between them – so everyone had a front row view!

The inspiration for this collection are: "cut and paste, the written word and rebirth craft (wo) manship."

Primary color palette are neutrals and black (what else for classics) with a splash of pinks and oranges to brighten up the collection.

Lots of knits with long draped hoods, pants and leggings. Especially expensive denim leggings print. Plainer leggings in black or gray will be given a more interesting appearance with a row of buttons sewn down the front.

Fur covered only the sleeves and hat providing a more playful look.

Long black satin fingerless gloves reaching above the elbow, looked with great the layered chiffon LBDs.

collection This is for the woman who likes soft tailoring and knitwear but wants a little design twist to its classic look.
