The tenor ukulele is becoming one of the most popular of the four sizes of ukulele (soprano, concert, walk and baritone). Traditionally, it is an instrument for skilled and experienced solo ukulele player (and it is still the most popular ukulele amongst such people). It provides ukulele more options for playing the bass notes, which can be very useful when you are playing solo and need to provide your own bass line accompaniment.

Re-competition D-Tuning

This is a fairly new tone for the ukulele tunes. The company Aquila strings to make uke can imagine DGBE tone. This is the same as a guitar string tone but high D (the same as the G string in tune with the competition re-C).

When you decide which tuning is best for you, you have to take into account your own style of playing. If you are mostly a strummer, players again will probably be C best choice for you. If you are more interested in playing solo, low-G could be the one for you.
